  after jane walks out of the present's ofi ce, sh begins to shout at sophie angrily.

  简从总裁办公室出来后，生气地对着苏菲大喊了起来。

  jane: don't pretend anymore. i know it was you who made trouble for me. have you heard that i'm losing my manager position?

  简：别装了，我知道是你捣的鬼。老板要免掉我的经理职务，你听说了吧？

  sophie: are you? i didn't hear that.

  苏菲：是吗？我还不知道。

  jane: if you weren't so devious, i would have held all the trump cards for this bidding,and i wouldn't be demoted.

  简：要不是你做了手脚，这次竞标我势在必得，也不会被撤职。

  sophie: what? you mean it's me that caused your failure? do you have any proof? if not, that is venomous slander.

  苏菲：什么？你的意思是是因为我你才竞标失败的？你有证据吗？如果没有，那就是恶毒的污蔑。

  jane: proof? look at these photos and tell me that's not you. you gave away our company's secrets to our competitor in order to defeat me.

  简：证据是吗？你看看这些照片上是不是你，你为了打败我，竟然向我们的竞争对手泄露消息。

  sophie: that's impossible. how did you get these pictures?

  苏菲：不可能，你怎么会有这些照片？

  jane: well, the day has eyes, the night has ears. i can't imagine what our boss will think if he sees these.

  my bad!

  表达歉意时，我们经常会用 my fault! my mistake!不过要是用my bad!（对不起）的话，首次接触这种用法的人多少会感到有些新鲜。my bad! 用于非正式道歉的语境中，是对很熟的朋友说的，而且发生的事也不是很严重，比如是不小心踩了脚这样的小事。据说，这种用法起源于篮球运动，在美国城市的贫民窟地带使用尤为广泛。当球员犯规或球出界后，往往会脱口而出 my bad!表示歉意。后来黑人青年把这个用法带入了职业体育运动中。my bad!的用法是自从1995年的影片《独领风骚》播映后才流行起来的。虽然近来 my bad! 不如90年代中期使用得那么频繁了，不过在俚语（尤其是在体育方面）中仍占有一席之地。而且人们在网上聊天时也经常使用。

  tony and his team are busy with a plan recently. when the plan is completed, he gets one big problem. an accountant has made some mistakes in drafting the budget. tony is very angry about that.

  最近托尼和他的团队正在忙一份企划。企划案完成时，他遇到了一个大问题。一个会计预算时犯了几个错误，托尼为此很生气。

  tony: how did you come to be so careless,gordon? you are often earnest in your you also know the plan is very crucial to us.

  托尼：戈登，你怎么会这么粗心呢？你平时工作挺认真的呀。你也知道这份企划对我们至关重要。

  gordon: i'm sorry about that. this is my mistake. i hope it didn't cause a big loss to us.

  戈登：对不起，这是我的失误。我希望没有对我们公司造成重大损失。

  tony: luckily i found it in advance.

  托尼：幸亏发现得早。

  gordon: thank goodness. even a little mistake in the budget can ruin the whole plan. then how do we deal with the plan?

  戈登：谢天谢地。预算即使是出现了小误差也可能会断送整个企划。那么关于这个企划我们该怎么做呢？

  tony: the budget will have to be redone.

  托尼：预算得重做。

  gordon: will the plan be postponed? oh, i must say that i am very much to blame.

  tony: you deserve to be called on this. but now it is not good time to ascertain where the responsibility lies. we must make the best use of our time to redo the budget. ok, get a wiggle on! we got to finish the plan on time.

  gordon: this time i promise to do my work without any mistakes.
